Renovate® 3 is a systemic broadleaf herbicide used for selective shoreline control of a variety of broadleaved aquatic plants and brush. Renovate 3 provides selective, targeted control of a wide variety of undesirable species without impacting many of the desired native aquatic plants and grasses. With Renovate 3, one aquatic herbicide tool can replace the need for multiple products because it can control submersed, emersed and floating aquatic plants.
Renovate 3 works both above and below the water surface to attack the entire weed, surface, roots and all. This systemic activity provides complete, long-term control of the targeted plants, not just a temporary burn down. Renovate 3 carries no restrictions on recreational use such as swimming and fishing, or on livestock consumption of water from the treatment area. The active ingredient in Renovate 3, triclopyr, rapidly enters a plant through the leaves and stems, then translocates down into the roots, disrupting the plant's metabolism. Renovate 3 is a selective broadleaf herbicide that can be used to control a variety of nuisance and invasive aquatic plant species such as Eurasian Watermilfoil and Purple Loosetrife. While controlling unwanted exotics, Renovate 3 allows many native monocots, and less susceptible dicots, to thrive following treatment.

For emersed weeds (most of plant is above water or on shoreline): Apply Renovate 3 at a rate of 32 ounces per 500' x 50' area by mixing 1 quart Renovate 3 with 12 gallons of water and add 16 ounces Cide-Kick surfactant. Spray directly onto weeds.
Recommended target weeds: Phragmites (common reed), Purple Loosestrife, Black Water Willow, Poison Ivy, Poison Oak, Dollarweed, and most tree species. See label for complete use directions.
For submersed weeds (underwater): Apply Renovate 3 at a rate of 3 quarts and 6 ounces of Cide-Kick per 100' x 100' area.
