Algae Control
Control green water, surface mats, and stringy algae
Algae can show up as green water, floating surface mats, stringy growth, Chara, or bottom-growing algae. A small amount is normal, but heavy growth can make your pond look bad, smell unpleasant, and create bigger water-quality problems.
Common signs:
- Green or pea-soup colored water
- Floating scum or mats
- Stringy algae along the shoreline
- Chara or algae growing from the pond bottom
